Approximately 240 exhibitors & partners are expressly committed to equal opportunities and women in management. In addition to continuing education, start-ups and entrepreneurship, herCAREER Expo places a special focus on finance, money and retirement planning. At the Future Talks, companies will present the innovations they are working on and how they are driving digitization and new work forward. Via the Innovation Lab format, they present their hubs, accelerators and incubators. At the Authors-MeetUp, authors present selected publications, and at the Podcast-MeetUp, podcasters record live in front of an audience – including the herCAREER Voice Podcast.
EXCHANGE AT EYE LEVEL
At the roundabout 350 MeetUps and Talks, lectures and discussions, visitors will benefit from reports on the experiences of renowned personalities and speakers from the worlds of business, science, media and politics.
ENTER THE TALENT POOL OF EMPLOYERS BY SCANNING A QR CODE
Visitors will also have the opportunity to submit their CV to the exhibitor of their choice at the booth by scanning a QR code on their visitor badge and thus be included in the talent pool. The digital application portfolio can be completed at the time of ticket purchase (from August). Not currently looking for a job? No problem! A multifaceted exchange of experiences is always a central part of the expo.

The herCAREER Expo is more than just a traditional careers fair, as careers always take place within a socio-political context. That is why the Expo places great emphasis on a wide-ranging programme featuring voices from politics, business, academia, the media and society. There are around 400 programme items in total.

Politics, business and society:
- Sofie Lilli Stoffel, Head of Foreign and Security Policy at the Heinrich Böll Foundation, discusses narcissism as a pattern in foreign policy.
- Wiebke Hönicke, a reserve officer in the Bundeswehr, explains the role of society’s capacity for self-assertion: “Do we need to be able to fight so that we don’t have to fight?”
- Prof. Dr Susanne Baer, former judge at the Federal Constitutional Court, describes how the Constitutional Court protects our democracy.
- Danish economist Emma Holten speaks about the value and valuation of care work and a feminist economic policy.
- Federal Minister of Justice Dr Stefanie Hubig shares her perspective on a panel discussing digital violence.
- Dr Kristina Wolff, founder of the Femicide Observation Centre Germany, discusses her fight against femicide and what she terms a failure to provide assistance in the structural protection of women.
- Kristina Straßburger, a criminologist and consultant on sexualised violence in the workplace, speaks with Senior Detective Superintendent Jan-Denis Wulff (BKA) about systemic violence against women and how it manifests in domestic and public spaces.
- Journalist and political commentator Gilda Sahebi explains how we can resist and combat divisive narratives.
- Daniela Sepehri, a journalist and human rights activist, acts as a voice for the oppressed people of Iran.
Science, health and bodily autonomy:
- Dr Eva Gengler, a researcher specialising in AI, founder and feminist, explains how AI applications can be used from a feminist perspective and why we urgently need feminist AI.
- Gynaecologist Dr Katrin Schaudig, an expert in gynaecological endocrinology and President of the German Menopause Society (DMG), fills in the gaps in our knowledge about perimenopause.
- Gynaecologist Dr Alicia Baier contributes to the highly topical discourse on (female) bodily autonomy at the podcast meet-up ‘Patriarchy in the Uterus’.
