How to Train Resilience – and Why It’s Indispensable for (Future) Leaders
Lecture: Resilience is often referred to as the “immune system of the mind.” Resilient people are able to cope with crises and are therefore more resilient under pressure. But does that also make them better leaders and employees?
This talk explores these and many other questions around the topic of resilience. How can resilience be learned? Why does being resilient have nothing to do with being emotionally distant? And why do even top executives need regular breaks?

From Small Ideas to Big Innovations
Lecture: Staying true to yourself, following your own path, and developing and realizing new ideas—these have always been my driving forces and motivators. But self-confidence is something you have to learn and strengthen, ideally through positive experiences. To achieve that, we have to take action ourselves and not let setbacks shake us. It helps to develop a “never give up” mindset.
In my talk, I’ll share insights into my day-to-day work as an engineer in the early concept phase—why I prefer building and developing prototypes myself rather than wasting time on PowerPoint and meetings, and how healthy self-confidence has helped me along the way.

Business Against Right-Wing Extremism – What responsibility do companies bear for our democracy?
Discussion: Anti-democratic and far-right extremist parties are on the rise—not only, but also in Germany. This trend impacts political decision-making, the business climate, and our democratic system. How are companies responding to this development? What responsibility do they bear for our democracy? Is taking a stand against right-wing extremism a business risk—or could it actually be good for business? And is that even the point, given the moral obligation involved? What works, and what doesn’t?
We’ll discuss these questions with women who share their experiences and engagement in standing up against right-wing extremism and for democracy—within the business world.

Integration of Refugees: How Can AI Help?
Discussion: Artificial Intelligence is increasingly being used in migration and asylum procedures. These algorithms use data to assist migration authorities in selecting suitable locations for refugees, with the goal of improving their integration.
This panel explores the key aspects of these technologies, focusing on issues such as data availability, data quality, and the definition of integration. The aim is to ensure that these systems are used fairly, transparently, and effectively to support the successful integration of refugees.

Gender Pension Gap – Sounds Boring? Hell No, It’s Super Important!
Expert-MeetUp: Two out of three women don’t know how much money they will have available after their professional life. And four out of five women are unaware of the gap in their future pension. In other words, they don’t know the size of their personal Gender Pension Gap.

Smart Investing Starts with Your Mindset
Expert-MeetUp: Every day, we make financial decisions. Spend or save? Save or invest? Donate? Even though money is a constant presence in our lives, many people struggle to actively engage with their personal finances.
But investing isn’t an exact science. In his book “The Psychology of Money,” Morgan Housel writes: “Financial success is not necessarily about what you know or how smart you are. Behavior is often more important.”
That means there are many paths to success—and just as many that lead you astray.
So what does it take to become a successful investor? Or to put it differently: What’s holding you back?

Growth Paradox
Expert-MeetUp: In a world obsessed with growth and constant achievement, we often fall into the trap of limiting beliefs—ideas like “I need to constantly move forward“ or „I’m not good enough.“ These beliefs hold us back, leaving us exhausted and unfulfilled.
The key to unlocking our true potential is to pause, reflect, and reframe these beliefs. Take care of our „goose“—balance growth with self-care—and you’ll achieve success with purpose, not just productivity. Nurture your goose, don’t kill it.

Feminist AI for a Fairer World
Expert-MeetUp: Advances in Artificial Intelligence have opened up numerous new opportunities for businesses, society, and individuals—but they also raise complex questions about privilege, stereotypes, and power.
AI can reinforce unjust power structures within organizations and society—but if designed through a feminist lens, it also holds the potential to challenge and transform them.
We’ll explore examples of discriminatory AI, understand the root causes, and look at feminist interventions. Right now, we have a unique opportunity to design and implement systems that are used everywhere—with the goal of shifting power.
Let’s make our world fairer with feminist AI!

How Can I Become More Decisive? Tips from Psychotherapy
Expert-MeetUp: The path to decisiveness leads through two “places”: first, making a decision; second, acting on it. There are no shortcuts—just plenty of discomfort along the way. Am I making the right choice? Will I regret it?
This Meet-Up is about cutting through empty promises, ending the limbo between yes and no, and making the case for a life driven by clear decisions.
We’ll do this with the help of “height psychology,” the meaning-centered psychotherapy developed by Viktor Frankl. At its core is the human desire for meaning—which applies to everything we do, including every decision we make.

I Just Hope We Can Talk – How Language Can Unknowingly Undermine You
Expert MeetUp: In any kind of discussion, the words we choose are not only crucial for conveying our point of view, but also for positioning ourselves as competent professionals.
Unfortunately, women often tend to use language that can make them appear uncertain or less confident—sometimes leading to difficulties in getting tasks done effectively and on time.
This Meet-Up focuses on identifying and avoiding such words and explores how they can impact our professional relationships.

Never TOO young to lead
Career-MeetUp:
“In your mid to late 20s, I think you’re still too young for the position. It’s probably a good idea for you to gain more operational experience before climbing the career ladder.”
How many times do we have to hear that sentence?
For so-called Zillennials or Gen Z—far too often. I want to show all women how to keep believing in themselves—even when their own manager doesn’t anymore!
How can you demonstrate leadership at a relatively young age—with or without a team?
How do you know when it’s the right moment to walk away?
And how can you grow, challenge yourself, and step into leadership—especially at a young age?
